The Man Who Wasn't There

This week has been rough at work. With seemingly all of my organization off for Christmas break, our office hasn't really had much to do. We're partly a customer-focused office and while we usually have some tasks we need to work on regardless, a lot of it is dependent on other people...and when other people aren't here, well...you do the math.

To make matters worse, I'm off next week. At 3:31 today (59 minute rule rocks), I will have nine (!) days of complete freedom to relax, stay up late, sleep in late, get caught up on movies (Eastern Promises, Shoot 'Em Up, Resident Evil(s), maybe some more Cronenberg films), finish some games (Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy and The Witcher, hopefully, and in that order) and hopefully play online with some friends who I haven't played with in awhile (Hellgate: London and Tabula Rasa).

So, the anticipation for a nice break, coupled with the fact that there's not much left to do this afternoon, is making today go by exceedingly slowly. To make matters utterly worse, I can't even mess around with my iPhone because the building inside a building situation = no reception.

And it seems that the holidays have slowed Livejournal posting so I don't see anything new on my friends lists. You guys are failing me! ;D
