The Man Who Wasn't There

It hit me this morning while I was taking a shower. Whoever is scheduling these hippy leadership courses

1) Hate me either in this life or in a former one
2) Obviously didn't check with me to see if the schedule worked for me

Because, damn. The first seminar was held during our mock conversion that we were using to plan for the conversion happening today (work stuff). The second seminar is this afternoon and tomorrow...during the flippin' REAL conversion.

But, the final blow, the final attack on me is that the next one is going to be November 17th. The day the Playstation 3 is out. The day I was planning on taking off.

Well, if they are looking for me to participate that day, they have another thing coming because I will be up until after midnight the day before, waiting in line.

Also: Lumines Live! rocks my face. I played it a lot last night and it took me awhile to realize that a) I was hungry and b) that it was two hours later.

Finally, "Steady As She Goes" by the Raconteurs is awesome.

Microsoft had best release Lumines Live shortly. I can't be held responsible for my actions if it isn't. I wants it I does.

I believe I have "Luminette's Syndrome" which is a rare and dangerous off-shoot of Tourette's Syndrome. It is so rare, in fact, that only a handful of people will have it. Instead of exploding in random curse-words, I find myself shouting LUUUUUUUUMIIIIIIIINEEEEES randomly. It is also characterized by random twitching and spasms.

I blame this, as well, on Microsoft. It really isn't fair that they would say it's coming out July 2006...then August/September and now TBD. Supposedly it's coming out this month, though I simply fail to take this bold claim at face value anymore.

*shakes fist impotently in Microsoft's direction*

Damn you Microsoft.

I need to stop thinking about Lumines Live. Last night, I dreamt about it. Why? Because I was so excited that tomorrow (meaning today) was September 6, because 6 Sep was the date that OXM found leaked for the launch of Lumines Live. So, I kept dreaming that it WAS out or that I WAS playing it, or that I was checking my press release email and finding out that it was out. I didn't sleep very well last night, LOL.

So this morning, the first thing I do is turn on my computer and Xbox 360 to see what game was released on Live. And there was no new game. I went to Major Nelson's blog and he said that Scramble was supposed to be released this week, but was delayed until next week.

Which means that the soonest that Lumines will be on Xbox Live will be 20 September. Which, I guess makes sense since the leaked OXM list had Scramble being released before Lumines. And the schedule was a week behind before this week. Now, it's two weeks behind. Bah. Oh well, at leat amazon.com shipped BDLA last night so I'll have that to mess around with. Hopefully, it'll be a good game. I can hope, right?

I also realized that the comment that was sent to me through myspace from my friend from 15 years ago was sent back in February. Whoopsie. She'll probably get it and not remember even sending out the message lol. oh well.
